Located on the Grand River just steps from Lake Michigan, Snug Harbor is where coastal flavors meet Midwestern charm. We’ve been serving locals and tourists alike for over 30 years, offering front-row seats to sunsets, boat traffic, and waterfront life in Grand Haven.
Our space blends two vibes under one roof, upstairs on the upper level patio and in Jelly's, you’ll find a relaxing atmosphere, cold drinks and a Tiki bar feel. Downstairs, the dining room and 'Breezy' patio offer a more laid-back, riverfront setting perfect for long lunches, date nights, and celebrations.

Founded and operated by Steve and Carole Loftis, the restaurant has become a local favorite, known for its coastal-inspired menu, sushi offerings, and laid-back riverfront setting.
Backed by years of experience in hospitality leadership, Steve and Carole brought a professional, guest-first approach to Snug Harbor that continues to shape the way the restaurant operates today. Their vision helped establish the restaurant as both a staple for locals and a draw for visitors exploring the Lake Michigan shoreline.
With the support of a dedicated team led by Amy, Andrew, and long-standing staffs, Snug Harbor remains a year-round destination for casual dining, special occasions, and private events. The commitment to quality, service, and community continues to define every experience here on the Grand River.
